Where did you post it? Maybe it would go over well in culture or something like that? It sounds like a reasonable question to me. Maybe they have a problem with you doing surveys. Just reword the questions like they are cultural. "I think people's ages and sexes influence their ideas of beauty. Please tell me your age, if you are male or female, and your favorite color."
Reply:It's under number three in the guidelines, I don't think that it's a matter of being inappropriate in itself, just a matter of them seeing as Answers being an inappropriate place to post it. I have no idea why - I didn't make the rules, and am still not sure why they suggest against questions of the sort. I'm sure they have their reasons.
Reply:I don't have any idea! I had a question too that they said violated the guidelines but I don't have any idea whatsoever on what part of the question violated the rulezz, I'm really wondering...hmmmm...what is wrong??
