Is Oprah Winfrey's question a violation of community guidelines?

I've had 2 genuine questions removed lately for 'chatting and personal communications' which they weren't. The first question I had removed was 'are you a troll?'. This was a POLL question and I put it in the POLLS AND SURVEYS category.

The second question I had removed was one where I asked why my first question was removed. This was a question about YAHOO ANSWERS so I put it in the YAHOO ANSWERS category.

Looking at Oprah Winfrey's question, it appears to me that it's more 'chatty' than either of the questions I asked. Can someone tell me why Oprah Winfreys question was more valid than mine? Can you only ask a question here if you're a multi millionaire with a TV show to advertise?

Is Oprah Winfrey's question a violation of community guidelines?
She is a shameless self promoter. Look at the bottom of the question where it says "tune in Monday at 3". NOW tell me this, If I were to ask a question and at the bottom say "please come to my store on Monday, here is the address, phone number, and website" Yahoo would pull my question because I am spamming or selling on Yahoo answers. Why does this not apply to Oprah? Yeh, *** it, I said it.
Reply:Tell me if she pays you to never talk again.
Reply:Dude it's ok, I had a question removed yesterday that was resolved from 2 months ago- They don't look they just delete everything anyone reports--- it's a system with no rhyme or reason.

It's just answers I guess it's not worth getting upset over.
Reply:Yes it`s a violation but Honey she has enough money to buy Yahoo! that`s the difference..I also got a violation a couple of days ago for asking has everyone got their Christmas shopping done?
Reply:Gil, since Opy can buy and sell your azz YOU should keep your mouth shut!
Reply:how is yours any better? i mean seriously, if you read the guidelines an example of a violation is even asking "who likes britney spears?". i think oprah's "question" is just an ad for her show. don't have a cow!
Reply:Oprah is a violation.
Reply:Let it go it's Opera! Everybody loves her.
Reply:nobody at yahoo is listening
Reply:What question????
