What percentage of wrestling fans are GULLIBLE?

There seems to be many wrestling rumours from some credible sources and others not so credible.

I was making a survey and asking some people a question and trying to figure out who is the most gullible %26amp; credelous of all wrestling fans.

My survery is almost done , and then i will determine the percentage of wrestling fans being gullible to fake rumours!!

5 % of the wrestling community?

10% Maybe?

Maybe 50 %

what do you think? 100 % ??

What percentage of wrestling fans are GULLIBLE?
Hard to say. I think for the most part wrestling used to be a lot more credible than it is today. I think there was always some level of soap opera in it, but not NEAR as much as today. When a wrestler died way back, he was dead! Nobody even HAD to second-guess the claim! When McMahan's car exploded, a lot of people were in disbelief, but some people doubted he was dead ... basically because of what wrestling had become. When Chris Benoit and his family turned up dead, even I questioned if it was true! A lot of people had become so programmed to believe that nothing was as it seemed in wrestling that it took DAYS for everybody to finally believe that they were gone. I think it probably sunk in to everybody at McMahan's 'memorial' service, when THE MAN HIMSELF stepped out on stage from the get-go and dedicated the episode and the service to Chris Benoit, Woman and their son.

I think maybe only 10% of fans are still gullible. The other 90% probably knows better ... but just like people get all up into the trials and tribulations of Erica Kane Montgomery, Chrystal and Alexis, and the Desperate Housewives (cussing everybody out but still knowing deep down that it's not real), that other 90% KNOWS better!!!

Even I love my soap operas - among others - and KNOW it's not real ... but when it gets to the point where Cole Turner and the other 'Charmed' demons done gone and pissed me off once too many times, well ... it's time for me to take a HUGE time out!!!
Reply:Sadly from what I've seen 50% at least.

Lotta these ppl wouldn't know Kayfabe if it bit em in the Hindquarters.

Sorry but I call em as I see em.
Reply:That "HHH Abuse" thing you pulled had (Some people) fooled. Come on Triple H living in Hartford out of all places? Even I hate living here.

I agree with Hornswaggle-Subzero.
Reply:First HHH would have used the Sledgehammer, Headlines would have been Bigger!

Gullible = 101%

Ask Yahoo Answers 100% including me, and all Deniers are Deniers!

Televised Viewers 100% even Wrestlers Wrestle with Wrestlers Spin!

Vince McMahon "Spins a Storyline to Spin the Story-line!"

The 1% is Vince himself, the Master of Spin is also fickle!

All the recent Story-lines are so Vince can get off the Road and onto the Teleprompter because, he still loves the Camera so much! Big Problem for him is, that his Power Walk cannot be Teleprompted!
Reply:How exactly are you conducting this survey and with how many people? How long have they been fans? What's their age group? Etc etc.

I'm going to go ahead and call this a failure for two glaringly obvious reasons.

1. The people on this site represent an extreme minority of the amount of wrestling fans there are.

2. Most REAL wrestling fans who know good and well when something is faked/scripted/shot or not, don't come to this site. The majority of people on this site, in this section are ill informed, young, or just jerks who like to mess around with you. There are very few people here who know what they are talking about.

So, if you're only conducting your little survey here and maybe a few other places I'd say it's 99.99%

However, if you're trying to say all wrestling fans then I won't give a number because it's flat out wrong.
Reply:I'd say about 95% of the fans are gullible or they wouldn't be watching it! The other 5% are just watching for fun.
Reply:Around 30%.
Reply:I think 25%
Reply:First of all, let me state that I think wrestlers are exceptional athletes. To do many of the moves they do, and to not seriously hurt their opponent, takes skill. As to what transpires within the ring, I believe most of it is pre-determined, prearranged, and practiced. As far as the public goes, I can only relate this, I once worked with a guy who was really into wrestling, and he believed that everything about it was real. I tried to convince him that if I jumped off of the top rope, driving me knee into any wrestler's throat, that he would die, for it only takes 12 pounds of pressure to crush ones Adams apple. I was told this by a doctor after one of my football team-mate's died when another players elbow caught him in the throat while blocking.
Reply:well it depends what you mean, you could put a post saying that info has leaked and stone cold so and so is gonna have a baby on tv and 75 percent atleast would believe it! as for believing in the fighting being real i think they know its fake but they just want so bad for it to be real cos there lame
Reply:69%

Majority of fans these days arent exactly "genius's", plus they fall for every Vince storyline.

- His death

- His return

- The son

Vince still outsmarts all of us, but mainly 69% dont have an idea.
Reply:Like 70%.

Many people stay too dependent on rumor mills,

"spoilers", and wrestling news that they don't try to see if the info is actually true or not.
Reply:none
Reply:99.9%. People take this stuff way to serious, including the wrestlers who are killing themselves for 15 minutes of fame.
Reply:the wwe refers to there fans in two ways, cant remember the exact term but those that watch and enjoy and those that truelly believe and they frown apon the true believers they are the one sthat get them in trouble lol
Reply:10% maybe
Reply:your story about triple h was stupid
