Survey about Nuclear Energy in Asian countries.?

In a survey I need to conduct for my Nuclear Engineering class, I explore the expanding potential influence of Asian countries on the nuclear community.

It would be greatly appreciated if you would answer these questions.

Do you support the creation of more nuclear power plants in:

1. United States

2. Japan

3. China

4. India

5. South Korea

If not, why?

6. Do you believe Asian nuclear development will impact United States nuclear policy? If yes, will this impact be beneficial to the United States?

7. If Asian countries continue to implement new nuclear programs, do you believe the United States will follow?

Thanks again for all your help.

Survey about Nuclear Energy in Asian countries.?
1. Yes

2. to 5. Doesn't matter what I think they are building and will build nuclear plants.

6. Only thing impacting US nuclear policy is the US itself. It will impact our economy and industrial might. If the US doesn't secure it's electrical power supply, then we won't be able to keep up with others industrially.

7. The US has to follow to keep up. If we don't which is a good chance, then were in trouble. Need to realize that Russia and many Europeans countries are expanding their nuclear power production as well. South Africa has been working new reactor designs to give electricity to remote parts of Africa. Even Austraila is considering nuclear.
Reply:Strongly believe new nuclear development cold fusion should occur in all countries listed.

6 believe Japan and Iran will have the bomb someday, and we will need to wonder as they did during cold war if they will be used. It will not benefit USA if milk toast politicians controlled by one special interest group win in the Fall. Anything that takes pressure off fossil fuel will benefit everyone if managed correctly. Was around when first commercial electric plants were being build in USA they all had the ability for complete shut down.

2. yes

3. yes

4. yes

5. yes

6. Yes, it will impact the US. I think it will mostly be beneficial because it will force competition, resulting in higher technology.

7. Yes, USA will follow. I doubt that they will just watch.
