Past Life Memories, a Serious Survey?

I would very much appreciate Answers community's help in a quick 'rule of thumb' survey of how many people here have had some kind of 'memory' of what could possibly be construed as a 'Past Life' or even some 'Other Life', a simple yes or no would be sufficient, although details would be very interesting, and might even help others to identify if they have had the same or similar experiences.

Past Life Memories, a Serious Survey?
Yes. I always have moments of recollection. Since I was a child I've had an affinity for Hollywood during the 30's %26amp; early 40's. I use to dream about it alot when I was 4-7 years old. Kids don't dream about old Hollywood in detail especially when they had never been there. I was born in '74. My memories are working for a studio, a big yellow convertible car, long windy roads, cool moist nights. I often times feel compelled that I died on a set? I still am drawn to Hollywood. Although it definately does not have the charm that I remember.





Also have vague recollections of countrysides in Europe .. more Southern France, border of Italy. Never been there though.





When I was 12-15, I would have these indepth memories of things to come. It totally contradicts my existence .. except that these memories are so vivid. It used to freak me out.





I don't usually talk about this with anyone.
Reply:Have you ever looked at pic's of, ( for instance) Europe in the 17th century, and feel like you know the area and you've been there before? Sorta like a Dejavu thing. I've experienced this for years, so could be a past life, my unconscious is trying to remember.
Reply:I know for a fact I have had 3 past lives and when I was a kid, I used to have "visions" of a midieval pedulum swinging above my head, it felt real and it scared me to the point I wouldn't be able to rest peacefully for days and it turned out I was killed by a pedulum in one life. I have had encounters of all kinds and even met other reincarnated people from my past lives
Reply:Long story short, I'm convinced I lived out west somewhere in the late 1800's.





Another long story short; my daughter is a reincarnated hippie. Her soul chose me because she knew I'd let her be who she is.
Reply:No, I don't clearly remember any past life experiences....but I do often experience Deja vu. When it happens, it's very surreal.

Reply:What an interesting topic, and you got some great answers. I Often when I pass pine trees bordering a green field I get an overwhelming feeling. It's a good, familier feeling. Lot's of deja vu, but I know that's a brain thing. I've also had "visions" if you will....most recently I had a plane crash scene pop into my head, and a plane crashed yesterday or two days ago. I've also had several dreams about people I know dying, and they do. Granted they're elderly, but it always happens that they die the next day.
Reply:My daughter was 3 when she told me she used to wear skates and go to cars and give people food. This was in l983 - so it wasn't like we saw carhops on every corner to give her the idea and I don't even know how to skate. I really think she is an old soul.
Reply:the only intense recall ive had was when i took a blotter of acid and felt i was crawling instead of walking time seemed a passing moment....and life seemed very fragile breathing was an intense experience but no recall of a past life just a glimpse of a somewhat vague future but for this lifetime .that glimpse was quite accurate as i look back 20 years but i guess i would need another hit of acid to jump another 20 years in the future

Reply:No, but I have definitely have had DeJaVu experiences. Really Freaky. It kind of makes you wonder if your life is already planned out for you and there is nothing you can do about it.
