1 - hip hop, r%26amp;b, jazz, swing, standards, reggae, dancehall


2 - the reggae and dancehall wud be cus i'm from the caribbean, so it's jus in my blood; jazz, swing and standards would be the beats and instrumentals; hip hop and r%26amp;b would be the beats again, and the fact that i can dance to it


3 - not a huge fan of rap, i'm more of a hip hop person


4 - not sure


5 - purchase in store


6 - cash, cause i dont buy things on credit


7 - not necessarily, their music is enough. i might purchase a concert on dvd, if that counts

5. I'd rather download music because I mostly listen to music on my ipod. However the major download stores like itunes do have limited selections.

2) the band's ability to play, their ability to write good music/lyrics, and the aggression it gets out of me when i listen to that music esp. at a concert.

2.) I like people that are unique and creative. I like people that write their own music and actually put feeling and heart into what they are writing. I also like artists that clearly give their energy to their work and devotion to their fans.

4.) I think the rap music today all sounds the same. There is no real talent and a lot of the lyrics are degrading.


5.) Purchase music from a record store. Nothing beats the feeling of tearing into the plastic wrap and popping that cd into the cd player.

7.) Yes, I actually do purchase the products of artists I like. I like to show my support. I usually buy clothing.
